What is the difference between the 72GB and 48GB RTX PRO 5000?
They use the same GPU, with 14,080 CUDA cores and a 300W limit. The 72GB card has 50% more memory, so choose it when your models, agents or scenes need more than about 40GB.
RTX PRO 5000 72GB or RTX PRO 6000 96GB?
The RTX PRO 6000 has 96GB, 24,064 CUDA cores and up to 1.8 TB/s, but the Workstation Edition draws 600W. The RTX PRO 5000 72GB runs at 300W and suits workstations where 72GB is enough.
Which AI models fit on one card?
A 70B-parameter model quantised to 4-bit fits with room for long context, 30B-class models run at FP8, and 7B–14B models run at full BF16 precision.
Can I use it in a rack server?
It is a workstation card with a blower. Some servers support it, and we check yours. For rack servers we usually recommend the RTX PRO 6000 Server Edition or the RTX PRO 4500 Server Edition.
What warranty do the GPUs have?
